Introducing the Human Health Risk Index (HHRI)
Understand Your Real Health Risk—in Simple Terms
Your health is more than a number on a scale or a cholesterol reading. The Human Health Risk Index (HHRI) from Huchr provides a clear, actionable way to understand your overall health risk. We measure what matters most, how your body works, moves, and responds in everyday life.
No complicated jargon. No guessing. Just clarity.
Why the HHRI?
Current health assessments often fail to capture your true risks. They’re either too narrow, focusing solely on weight or basic bloodwork, or too vague, leaving you unsure how to act.
The HHRI solves this by combining:
-
Vital Health Metrics: Blood pressure, heart rate, waist-to-height ratio, muscle mass, and body fat.
-
Functional Movements: Your strength, endurance, and how quickly you recover.
Together, these give you a complete picture of your health and pinpoint exactly where you need improvement.
Your Risk Category, Clearly Explained

1
Optimal (90-100)
Your body is thriving. Maintain this momentum.
2
Low Risk (80–89)
You’re doing well but have opportunities to optimize your health.
3
Moderate Risk (70–79)
Addressable issues exist—improvements now will make a meaningful difference.
Elevated Risk Categories, Clearly Explained

1
Elevated Risk (60–69)
Your current lifestyle could lead to long-term issues. Changes recommended.
2
High Risk (50–59)
Immediate actions are necessary to reverse health risks.
3
Critical Risk (below 50)
Your health requires urgent attention. Huchr can help guide you forward.

Who Should Use the HHRI

You
If you've tried standard measures and found them lacking.

You
If you want clear guidance without confusing medical language.

You
If you're serious about taking real control of your long-term health.
Why HHRI Is Better Than BMI
For years, people have been told to use something called BMI (Body Mass Index) to figure out if they're healthy. But BMI is a rough guess, not a real picture of your health.
What’s wrong with BMI?
-
It only uses your height and weight.
-
It doesn’t know if your weight is from fat or muscle.
-
It can’t see how strong, active, or healthy you actually are.
-
It was made almost 200 years ago, before we had the science we do today.
That’s why someone who works out and eats well might still be told they’re “overweight.” And someone with serious health issues might get told they’re “normal.”
That’s not helpful and it’s not right.

HHRI Looks at What Really Matters
The Human Health Risk Index (HHRI) is different. It checks how your body is actually doing, not just what it weighs.
We measure things like:
-
Your blood pressure and heart rate
-
How your weight sits on your body (not just total weight)
-
How strong and active you are
-
How well your body bounces back after activity

What's the Catch?
There isn’t one.
The HHRI Core is 100% free to the general public, now and forever.
We built this tool as part of a Master’s in Public Health research project and to help a friend. But once we saw what it could do, we knew it had to be shared.
This isn’t about selling you something. It’s about giving people real answers about their health without the noise, without the guessing, and without a price tag.
How We Handle Your Information
Name
After 2 hours your name is deleted from your original submission and moved to a locked database where it is stored permanently or until you request it to be deleted.
Measurements
Your measurements are stored in a separate database than your name and email.
After 2 hours your email is deleted from your original submission and moved to a locked database where it is stored permanently or until you request it to be deleted.
Unique User ID
After submitting the form, the system creates a random unique user ID and assigns it to your information. The ID is used to link your information with your name and email after the 2 hour window has closed. This user ID is never shared with you or anyone else.
HHRI Score
Your HHRI scored is stored in a seperate database then your form submission or name and email. The HHRI database never contains your name or email address.
Automated Processes
We use an automated process to check your answers, look up your email, and send you your HHRI results.
This is the only time any part of our system sees all of your data together.
It lasts for about 5 minutes. After that, your data goes back to being fully separated.
